We are rooted in family. It started in 1952 when brother duo, Mardee and Val Kidd decided to open a high-end grocery store and meat market. Driven by the pairs passion for providing their community with the highest quality meats, produce and goods the store quickly became a success. With third-generation roots in the meat markets, Artisan Butcher specializes locally sourced premium cuts of meat, signature marinades, smoked inhouse bacon, sausage, and more. Our butchers are traditionally trained and have a combined 150+years of experience between them. That knowedge not only lends to the award winning receipes, but also allows us to bring expertly cut meat to you. Meats from our smoke house are cooked with a precise, consistent low heat and with woods that infuses a mild smokiness, sweetness and fruitness.
